Web3 Product Designer

Location: Remote (Europe based)

Employment type: Freelance

Commitment: FT for first 3-6 months (then shift to an On-demand, hourly basis.)

We are seeking a Web3 Product Designer who is passionate about creating efficient and aesthetically pleasing user experiences. You will be responsible for leading the development of an effective design system that enhances user interactions with blockchain technologies. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about multi-chain functionality and decentralized finance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and implement a comprehensive design system to maintain consistency and streamline the design and development process.
• Redesign our UI, whilst maintaining the same UX we have established already.
• Establish design standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across different platforms and devices.
• Stay updated on UX/UI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design, and incorporate these insights into our design practices.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT

• Fluent in English or Italian.
• At least 3 years of experience in SaaS product design, with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Exceptional design skills, with an emphasis on creating user-centered solutions that combine functionality with aesthetics.
• A solid grasp of design principles, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Independent and proactive, capable of moving projects forward with little direction and thriving amidst ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Web3, blockchain, or DeFi product design is highly desirable, demonstrated by a portfolio of relevant projects.
