Game Programmer Full Time

Our client is seeking a skilled Game Programmer to join their team and help them revolutionize the gaming experience.

As a Game Programmer, you will be responsible for developing animations and game flow. Working closely with the Design team, you will bring new ideas and gameplay features into the game. You will be programming content like player movement, animation, weapons, user interface, and scripting to create an immersive gaming experience for players.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Design team to implement gameplay mechanics, features, and animations
• Develop and program game content, including player movement, animation, weapons, user interface, and scripting
• Write clean, well-documented, and optimized code that meets technical requirements
• Optimize game performance for various platforms and devices
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in game programming

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in the game industry
• Strong experience with Javascript
• Experience with game engines and frameworks, such as Phaser, Unity, or Unreal Engine
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D game development
• Understanding of game mechanics, physics, and optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for gaming and a desire to create high-quality, engaging games
