My client is a web3 game development company their flagship title is a groundbreaking blockchain game that integrates decentralised finance with non-fungible tokens.
They are looking for a junior to mid-level 3D generalist who is skilled through at least 2 years of experience in 3D modelling, texturing, shaders, rigging, and animation.
This role will initially require migrating a large amount of previously-created assets into Unity-friendly files (likely FBX). Particular attention to pivot point placement, naming conventions, zero’d transforms, hierarchy and file organization are highly desired.
The candidate should be organized, enthusiastic, communicative, adaptable, and have experience working with Unity and Blender or Maya for a manager, on a team, and on their own. The ideal candidate will have shipped at least 2 titles. Achieving these qualities and outcomes can have achieved in school or in actual jobs.
The candidate’s ability to be creative will come into play once the initial work has been completed to a high level of quality. The intention is for this role to grow into more responsibility and more creative authority if the style and communication can evolve amongst the candidate’s manager and the rest of the team.
Bonus for experience with JIRA (or equivalent task-tracking software), GitHub (or equivalent source control software), Google Docs/Sheets, Notion, Figma, and a Discord account. Additional bonus points for exploring having interest in web3, blockchain gaming, and NFTs.
